Concerning: letter of recommendation for Robert Groen

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

My name is Emiel Mellaard, and I am employed as the manager of the Sports Department of “Rules for Health”, a health- and sports center in Bunschoten. In addition to this position, I am associated with various sports clubs as the fitness coach, e.g. Hockeyclub LMHC (First Team) in Laren, Soccerclub SV Spakenburg (First Team) in Spakenburg and Tennisclub BLTC in Baarn. Robert is my pupil at the Tennisclub BLTC, where he is part of the youth selection team.

I have known Robert since September 2002, when I became acquainted with his dad Ron Groen. A few years later Robert became my pupil at the BLTC tennis club.

It is a pleasure to work with Robert; he is studious, sympathetic, social, physically and mentally strong, not injury prone, and he is very coachable.

Based on the work I have done with Robert, I conclude that he has sufficient capacity, both sports wise as personally, to study and play tennis in the US. Robert is very motivated to succeed.
