Emiel Mellaard (1966) – a former Dutch top athlete, specialized in the long jump. Best results amongst other:

- National record holder outdoor (1988: 8,19)

- National recordholder indoor (1989: 8,23)

- European champion indoor (1989).

- Olympic finalist Seoul (1988).

Currently he is employed as manager fitness at Rules for Health. In this role he is also the fitness coach for:

- Laren (field hockey) – Hoofdklasse KNHB

- Spakenburg (soccer) – Hoofdklasse KNVB

- BLTC Baarn (tennis) – junior selection.
